  • I use trusted providers to run the service, some outside Nigeria, under safeguards the law requires.
  • You can ask me for a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion, any time.
  • I follow Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 and the NDPR.

Who I am, and the law I follow

I'm Max, Nigeria's AI property agent, operated by Dajily Max Technologies Ltd, based in Abuja, Nigeria. For your data, Dajily Max Technologies Ltd is the data controller.

I handle your information under Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 (the NDPA), which is enforced by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). Where this policy and the law differ, the law wins.

What I collect

I collect only what I need to act for you:

  • Your account and contact details: name, email and phone, and which of them you've verified.
  • What you tell me: what you're looking for or listing, your preferences, and our conversations.
  • For owners: property details and the documents that prove ownership (title, C of O, survey plan). These are sensitive, so I treat them with extra care.
  • Enquiries and viewings: the homes you ask about and the requests you make.
  • Payments: plan payment references only. I never hold your card details, my payment provider does.
  • Security and device data: sign-in sessions, IP address and browser, to keep your account safe.

Why I use it, and my legal basis

Under the NDPA I must have a lawful basis for every use. Mine are:

  • Your consent: when you agree at sign-up, and you can withdraw it any time.
  • Our agreement (contract): to act as your agent, find or list property, and run viewings.
  • Legitimate interests: to verify listings, prevent fraud, and keep the service and your account secure.
  • Legal obligation: where a law requires me to keep or share certain records.

Who processes it, and where

I use a small set of trusted providers to run the service. They process data on my instructions only, and I never sell your data to anyone. Some of them operate outside Nigeria, so your data may be transferred abroad. When that happens, the NDPA requires the transfer to be protected by adequate safeguards (such as contractual protections), and I rely on those.

  • Cloud hosting and databases: store your account, listings, saved homes and our conversations on secure, access-controlled infrastructure.
  • Secure document and media storage: holds property media and owners' documents. Documents sit in a private store, reachable only through short-lived signed links.
  • An AI provider: powers the intelligence behind me, processing your messages and property details to understand and help you.
  • Messaging and email delivery: send your one-time SMS, WhatsApp and email codes.
  • A licensed payment processor: handles plan payments. It holds the card details; I keep only a reference.
  • Security and anti-abuse: confirm real people and block bots and fraud on sensitive actions.

I describe these by what they do rather than naming each one, which keeps the service more secure for you. If you need the specific provider behind any of these, for example to exercise a data right, ask me using the form below and I'll tell you.

I do not use advertising or cross-site tracking, and I have no third-party analytics running today. If that changes, I'll update this policy first.

How decisions are made (I'm an AI agent)

I'm AI-native: I sort, score and recommend properties to match you, and I draft and check things along the way. But the decisions that matter, contact, viewings and money, always run through an accountable process, with my team at the real Abuja office to step in. You are never subject to a purely automated decision with a serious effect on you without a way to reach a person.

Your privacy, both directions

An owner's identity and contact details are never shown to a seeker, and a seeker's are never shown to an owner. Everything runs through me. I only share what's genuinely needed to close a deal, and only with your agreement.

How I protect it

Owner documents live in a private store opened only by short-lived signed links. Payments go only to verified accounts that match a signed agreement. Sign-in sessions are protected, and access is limited to what's needed to act for you. If a data breach ever puts your rights at risk, I notify the NDPC within 72 hours of becoming aware, and I tell you directly when there's a real risk to you.

How long I keep it

I keep your data only as long as I need it to act for you and to meet legal and security obligations: while your account is open, and for a reasonable period afterwards. When you ask me to delete it, I remove what I'm not legally required to keep. I'll publish specific retention periods here as they are set.

Your rights under the NDPA

The law gives you clear rights over your data, and I respect all of them:

  • Ask whether I hold data about you, and get a copy in a portable format.
  • Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your data (the right to be forgotten).
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Object to a particular use, or ask me to restrict it.
  • Not be subject to a purely automated decision with a significant effect.
  • Move your data to another service where that's technically possible.
  • Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if you think I've got it wrong.

Use the form below and I'll act on your request within 30 days. You can also reach me in the chat or at my Abuja office.

Registration and a data protection officer

The NDPA requires a “data controller of major importance” to register with the NDPC and appoint a data protection officer, against a threshold the Commission sets. I follow the NDPA and the NDPR now, and I'll register with the NDPC and appoint a data protection officer if and when I meet that threshold. Until then, the contacts below reach the people who handle your data.

Children

Dajily Max is for adults aged 18 and over. Property decisions are binding commitments, and under Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 anyone under 18 is treated as a child whose data needs a parent or guardian's consent. So I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and the service isn't aimed at children. If you believe a child's data has reached me, tell me and I'll remove it.

Changes, and how to reach me

If I change this policy I'll update the date above and, for anything significant, tell you. The contact block below reaches the people who handle your data, or you can use the request form, or reach me in the chat.
